I've been having the same problems with my new W960. I've tried the usual things like reinstalling the sony software, the usb drivers, etc, etc. But still get the same fault. It seems to install the first two devices fine then struggles on the third. Strangely the W960 still appears as a single drive in windows?!
Sophieeee: Was it the supplied USB cable from SE that was faulty?

I've read somewhere else that disabling the power management function from the USB hub through device manager is meant to help with mass storage devices though unfortunately it hasn't changed my problem.

I had problems connecting to my phone in Fast File Transfer-mode (is that the correct name in english..?).
I also had problems with Sony Ericsson Media Manager.

But under the Computer Management (right-clicking My Computer), I checked under Disk Management. And there it was, my precious W960...
I tried to open it from there, but it kept directing me to another network drive. So I just changed drive letter for my phone and then it workt just swell! =)

Strange that I didn't get an error message about that, it would have been easier...

So - check the drive letter if you experience connection problems!

And - thanks for the help above, without it I would not have found the solution!
