I think the flash on the n82 makes a big difference, I personally love a phone with a proper flash but the N95 8gb looks a lot better and I like the slider.

In terms o9f looks yes the n82 is better but in terms of funvtionality I would recommend the n95 and most users are not dissapointed with it.

I was in a similar position and I bought the n95 8gb without a second thought! It truly is an amazing device, n82 in my opinion doesn't come near!

They are both very similar devices though. Theres just differences like the screen size, Flash, internal memory ect. I guess its a question of what you want most. I'm very dissapointed to see that the N96 won't have a flash and this has made me question should my next phone be the N82 or maybe one of the new SE phones.

Thank you guys! first i will go to a store and try a n95 8gb since i never had one in my hands . I think i will go for the one that fits better in my hands and in my pocket, aswell as the keypad. For what i see both phones are identicaly in software/UI and for the features i will have to chose only between a bigger screen and a xenon flash since i can get 8gb with both phones. It will be a hard choice cause i preffer candybar phones but n82 its not the prettiest thing around. On the other hand n82 is slimmer but n95 is smaller when closed

On more question... in n82 it is possible to skip tracks with the music player in background? On n95 i assume that is with the dedicated music buttons right?

I was considering both and ended up with the N95-2 8GB. I love slider phones ever since the W850i. And this two way slider is great.

The sounds is WOW. Especially when using one of those BOSE sets. Even the speaker stereo sound is awesome. I actually found it to be clearer, crisper and cleaner on the N95-2 8GB when comparing with N95-3.

I have NOT however tried an N82 in person so can't really compare, but specs and looks-wise I went N95-2.
