Haha, the k850 is one of the best phone's I had,
even better then my dads fatass n95.
Ofcourse there are bugs but just wait after a good firmware update
and it will be even better

I have just sent back my second to o2 for replacement, will be my third when it comes back. On the first the keypad / softkeys went so whenever you pressed the number pad it would actually press the middle softkey. The same thing happened on the second a month later, then about an hour later it smelt of burning and wouldn't turn on.
The keypad thing has happened to two of my mates as well, who are on their second handsets.
Great phone but I'm not confident about the build quality

No ,no, no !
This topic is not about K850i alone - it's about power of this forum and community in it!
I'm this "sucker" who got blinded by its beauty.
I'm this advanced user who can make panic in right places
so that some people start working faster for my phone.
If there is no pressure there will be no improvements -
if you sit quietly in the corner and just wait a year, no one
will make you phone better.
They got you money, get what they promised to deliver !
....and this is not limited to mobile phones!! we all want things to be better, not worse. we do this by contributing to a wishlist thread (i think theres one in here somewhere, which you may or may not have contributed), maybe SE will read it, but
you are naiive in thinking that if you, yourself throw your toys from your pram you will get their attention & they will bow to you 'cos of a little tantrum? that's hardly being "advanced user" now is it.
start by offering constructive suggestions rather than slagging the product off (your thread title "General k850i not recomended for buying !") then maybe someone will take you seriously.
just a thought, but maybe they do actually need a year or whatever to collect such information from customer feedback regarding certain models & then apply that into R&D. you think this happens overnight? [/tut tut]

apology accepted.
i'm english, you are apparently bulgarian.
...& i will word my text how i like, but i'm touched by your concern, really i am. do you troll other boards looking for punctuation & grammar errors, while showing disregard for the actual topic being discussed?

I'm not the biggest fan of the K850 after sending 6 back with various software and build quality issues, but its been around a while now surely they've addressed these issues now? Anybody?

thread starter
just because you don't like something, it doesn't mean that everybody must hate it too. every single person has their own opinion. you don't have to tell people to hate something, when the time comes people with their own right mind will decide the fate of the phone.
I wanted the K850 since the day it was announced, but once it's out and I read about the bugs posted in the firmware thread, I totally lost interest. I almost get myself a Nokia N82, but I waited until everything is stable (around when R1CA037's released). read my signature, you'll see that I just get the phone. I must admit that the camera performance is below my expectation, but I can live with it. it doesn't give me 100% but K850i is worth the wait, in my case.
in short, I'm against your advice. people should be left free to buy what they want. nowadays I think everybody knows that an educated buyer is the one that will reap the most from their purchases. people who just buy on impulse usually hurt themselves more because (in my opinion) sometimes they didn't even know what they're buying, they're just following the trend. which one are you?

^^ agreed. I love my k850i. I haven't had any problems since I got this phone 4 months ago, a friend of mine also hasn't had any problems and he's had it for over a month now. Defects do happen, that's why there are warranties.

Generally if you use the right settings your pictures will turn out good, and make sure the lens protector is clean.
