mine was definately plastic and i think we have established here so are some others. if you have metal all credit to you.
my last 'metall pda was exactly the same. adonised plastic is the most common 'metall used in electronic products.

Metals transmit (dissipate) the heat much faster than plastic, that's why it's fresh.

So this means there are two types of P1s arround?
There must be a visible weight difference between them.

If people who swear by P1i's plastic and aluminum (front) casings are both correct, could it be that we have been duped by SE? That some got the plastic, while others got the aluminum? People in the know (from SE?) must be laughing their teeth off when they read this thread.
