BART : In my case, the sound-quality got quite a lot better when I upgraded.

From what the service center told,..it should be very similar to the HBH-15 afterwards.

Hmm,..In my case,..I drive in my car a lot, thats when the wireless is better than the ordinary headset.

You dont get tangled up in wires in the car.
And you dont need to install a handsfree kit.

The only real issue about using the HBH-10 or 15,..is the size. Some feel its too big.
But if You dont mind that, and the fact that people "look at you", then I would go for it.

Other brands will arrive soon. Plantronics and philips makes smaller ones, and should be out soon. Very nice,..they are similar in looks. They should cost less than the Ericsson HBH-15 and 20.

GN-netcom/Motorola and Jabra should come along too in the nearby future.

You might wanna wait up, and see what the Cebit will show. I do believe that there will be some headsets on display at that show in march.

Jan, I have 2 problems with my HBH-10 (bought it in march 2001, no upgrades done yet).
1. calling party has annoying echo
2. sound is bad when wearing phone left and headset right of my body

do u think that the upgrade will fix this?

Hmmm, sounds like you need an upgrade. Will surely help the "sound-thing".
I dont have the echo-thing.

I wear the headset on left ear, and the phone sits in its car-holder on the right side, no problems at all.

I use T-68 with R2B software.

headset with P1AF.

Try to have a look in the other topic on HBH10 in this forum (accessories)

Just to check if u uses HBH-10 instead of HBH-15? Had any problem of the phone not able to constantly find the HBH on automatic mode when there is incoming calls or making outgoing calls?
