This might be a stupid question but what is this walkman theme you are writing about?

i always buy k-series for there cams, the walkmans are just eyecandy put some new acoustics on the k series and you get walkman sound quality & K series camera performance. the k800i is better than the w810i i don't know what i would do without 3g and a decent sized screen.

Agree.

The latest version of KD Player supports album art via id tag, and with skinning you can make it look virtually identical to the Walkman player, and it's features are as good or better than the walkman player.

Using modding techniques, I've also replaced my right softkey with a Walkman logo and a link to KD Player, and also added a "Walkman" link in my main menu.

I've got the best of both worlds

when i had my k750, i never thought about flashing it to w800. i think that the Activity button is more useful than a player.

Don't forget that the W900i also is not based on any lower end phone ora K-series phone, and you can't say also it's based on S700i because it's much more updated hardware wise (2 mp camera with AF and QVGA video [240x320 30fps] And 3G) and definitley i can't live without it.

I did that and it did not come up. I tried a few other models and could not find one. Is it a good theme? Im going to try searching on the web for it. I would really like the walkman theme!

I agree from a point of view of functionality, but the W800 Walkman player was just so much better and slicker than the K750. In K800 I'm using KD Player so I don't miss the Walkman player at all, but in the K750 I usually ran W800 firmware simply for flight mode and Walkman player. Having got used to Activity menu on K800 though I couldn't go back to not having it.

I can't really say that the K-series is not given proper respect. Most ( if not all) recent sets have been technologically biased towards the k series, With the w-series being more fashion orientated (w880i , w890i and w910i are all some of the slimmest in their forms).
If you look at the k850i and the w910i, there is hardly any reason to get the w910i unless you were style conscious, after battery draining flash themes by default, or were after the Walkman branding - which has become a bit of a joke to some extent as the new a200 cybershot phone's "music player" is basically a fully functional Walkman, Without the Sense and shake Control.

IT has very clear sound but it is to much treble, ive tried several acousticdrivers but it lacks the feature of a equalizer.

I bought my K800 because of the camera on it, it had got reviews so i struck a deal!
And what do you know... it didn't dissapoint me!
At one time i actually thought about buying a W890i, its a beautifull phone.. slim and firm-lookin'. But i didn't.

I dont know what my next buy will be, time will tell if i go for the next gen camphone.
Right now i got more important things to lay me money on. Stock for an example.
