If your talking about the Fiat 500 James May reviewed on Top Gear with the cream interior and retro feel then i'd choose that as it is fit, or failing that the VW.

Nah, VWs (I presume you mean the Beetle) are just a Golf underneath. They're old, they're too common, they're not even that good. Whenever I see someone driving one, I instantly know they know nothing about cars, they just simply wanted to look cool, but they don't because everyone has one.
So you want something European right? What does a BMW 1 series retail for?

if ur not to keen on 2nd hand car, have u looked into maybe a 6month old demo car from a main dealer, they will have been looked after (even in the 6months) sure if ur requirements are not to werid and unique im sure they will find u one.

seems all my thinking was a waste, at the 11th hour my car has been fixed

(so they claim)
will be testing it thoroughly and if it's not fixed I will be on the about for a new one!
Oli.. VW Polo not beetle
I like the Skoda Fabia but it's 5 door and I only want/need a 3 door
but all the above is off atm

I may just buy a BRX plate anyway.. I miss mine!
http://www.uknumberplates.org/ is the cheapest place I've found and they do a grid that is very easy to understand to display plates

I really want a car, need to get off my arse and sort something out, it would have to be on finance though, do you guys think good deals can be had at all this way, where you don't end up paying £10,000 plus for say a £7,000 car?
I'm after something brand new but only something small, like the following and something cheap to insure really, would never think of getting something second hand unless i could buy outright and that just isn't possible.
Fiat 500
Toyota Yaris
Renault Clio
Are some of the cars i've been thinking about, just wondered if something goes wrong with them which is the best to have for parts and labour etc etc, as you can see i'm abit clueless. Sorry to hijack your thread.
