IMO I think its a fair comparision and one should accept it. But mobile review has cleary shown quiet a few times (our sympathy with n96) its bias to nokia. So se fans should not take it hard.

Forget whatever you said. In terms of music quality N81 simply murders the W960 and thats all that matters, thats ALL THAT matters in a music centric device.
W960 is seriously screwed up interms of sound quality(i've tested it). I dont know what your standards are when it comes to audio output.

you like the W960's sound quality. That says a lot about your standards, if you even have any. Anyway, this argument is pointless and we all know to what extent you'll go to prove your lust for SE.

do this if possible
pair up with a pair of ANY ultimate ears headphones

the W960, W950 , N81 and N91. and notice the HUGE difference
especially with the N91 which has HI-FI sound...you read well...HI-FI
do a little search on the web if you want info on this and you will know
but better do the test i said and notice yourself
walkman phones are light years behind TRUE music centric devices
a W logo and special music keys won't do for audiophiles
we need a 3.5mm jack, and better sound quality by using DEDICATED AUDIO CHIP...which is CRUCIAL
at least do an audio test Mizzle on N91 and N81 and then say anything about w960
don't say i didn't even tested it or seen the device...if you want i'll post pics with my happy fool face and my w960 sucking on music

well deserved... i think the n81 is a terrible phone.. but the w960 is a piece of trash as well.. old se tech that deserves a thrashing...especially since they love charging a premium and not offering any substance...
