here in Dominican Republic SE has a lots of adds, especially of walkman and cyber-shot phones, I think thats the reason why they are 3 times more popular than 1-2 years back.

I believe SE's marketing strategy is about to change. Their advertising sucked in my country, until they shot a w890i tv ad in my country....I hope this is a sign of good things to come in the advertising department...

Well..
K850i was a miss from SE. What I hope is they are going to release G700 and G900 and C702 and C902 W760 asap..

I hope SE won't repeat it again, They need learn something from LG and Samsung...

I think India wants to target the youth market mainly with their range and mid range phones ..and they might decide to air ads for the latest W890i ...but their pricing strategy is ridiculous

Anyone else notice that responders in this thread mentioning existing or heavy marketing by is from emerging and growing markets for cellphones?!!! That is 's new strategy, less reliance on the traditional Euro market (even though its stupid to ignore it completely when 40% of its sales are from European nations).

NZ is not an emerging market. There are more active accounts here than there are people. We reached saturation point some years back but kept going.

I like k850 cybershot phone features like Instant email on your mobile phone, just like on your home computer. Messages are sent directly to your phone as soon as they arrive.
