oh yeah
strange that someone would pick up on a 2 letter abbreviation in the middle of a long sentence and ignore the long written answer to the original question
perhaps we both need to go to specsavers!

as I understand it there is 100mb internal dynamic memory on the N95-8gb, down from 160mb that was on the original N95, then there is the 8gb drive separate from that.

Thats what I thought they might do. Instead of having the memory card slot they basically hardwired in a 8GB memory card. So my normal N95 with 8GB memory card actually has more memory.

its the same solution the w950 used as the 8gb was also separate from the internal memory and access like a data card
