Jesus thats a bit cheeky of them calling you asking to cut down your usage when its upto 12,000 messages. Though god knows how you got through that much in one month. O2 said my average messages per month is 480 so how you got through 3,000 in 3 weeks must be a record. Most i got through a month was just over 1,000 when i was with Orange some years back. If i send that many messages people start getting sick of me and stop replying after so many lol

Blimey!! that is a lot i think the most i ever did was 1085 in a month but thats only because i receive a lot of joke texts that are 3/4 messages long so time you forward them it soon adds up.

It's not really that cheeky. There has to be a limit somewhere, but that 12,000 is the absolute maximum you can use before they won't give you any more, or there abouts anyway. The reason they rang you was because that is, to be honest, a rather excessive amount to use it.

I mean, if it was your network, wouldn't you be a bit annoyed if someone was using it way more than you'd expect?

Damn right thats cheeky! Lol. If they want to complain about usage then they really should only do it when you have used up those 12000 free texts, are coming very close to it, or being close to the end of the month, perhaps with a simple automated "coming close to your free texts limit-you have used xxxx of your free texts this month" style of text message would be more considerate. Its their own fault putting such a high limit on it, if they want users to use alot less in general, they should have organised alot sooner and had a limit half that amount, or alot less! Not sure how many i go through myself in a month, mind u but i bet half of the mobile population couldnt be bothered using up 12000! Advertising "unlimited free messages" with the usual small print of a maximum amount should be banned anyway. One day that print will be too small for anyone to read yet still legal. Lol! Quote:

When you run a large multi national cooperation, I'm sure you'll think differently

I see the point of usage limits but when they put it that high what are people going to think. They will obviously think its ok to use that many. Most networks cap unlimited around 3,000. Im never going to get through that many mins either. I DONT HAVE THAT MUCH SPARE TIME TO CHATTER.
