About the joystick, I have w800i with faulty joystick-just install a patch so that you can use the keypad to navigate. find it on esato download section and install with far manager (check first to see if you have correct firmware version)

Joystics are not that expensive to buy and they are easy to replace (at least for me)...
Try
www.cnn.cn to get new joystick for your phone... Then you should remove the old one and soldier the new, but be careful not to damage the motherboard...

My success was only shortlived... The problem seems to have reocuured. It seems to be on and off. Changing display driver seems to have worked for some time.
I believe I am only left with the option of reflashing the phone. AS this is the first time i will be attempting it... a few clarifications...
I have downloaded the following files from

1. K750_R1DB001_FS_APAC_1_RED36.rar
2.K750_R1DB001_MAIN_CHINA_CL_RED36.rar
3.K750_CDA102338_8_Generic_Hong_Kong.zip
Are these files enough? Do we need to upload the cust pack also or FS and Main will be enough.
Also I have downloaded the Generic Cust Pack, whereas there were many other available.
Kindly advice.....

I have gone ahead and replaced the Display. Its working fine now.
But after flashing the external memory card is displyed as 32 MB as against the card which is 512 MB. Can any body tell why. i have tried formatiing but no use.

I've the same issue. I've tried everything..... Repairing EROM, reflashing, I checked the connection, nothing :S
