It's weird !!! With mine, i can't !? Have you the R1D011 sw ??? Me, when i try this trick, i got the red cross that means that the pic can be loaded, but when i try to delete it, i've the message "can't delete predefined items".... like when they are loaded... It's really strange.

Hmm... I have R1D and I seem to be able to delete predefined pictures (e.g. the butt-ugly fish

). When doing so (from the 'memory status' menu), it says 0 kB is released and 8 kB used... Or something like that.
Also have some weird problems with the games. Did a master-reset after having upgraded to R1D, and all games but Black Deal disappeared. However, it still claims 200 kB is used for games, even though I only have two games (using approx. 90 kB) installed. It would be ok, I guess, if I had the pre-installed games after a master reset, but if they never show up, then what's the point?

It's weird, 'cause when i make a Master Reset with R1D, i got all the preinstalled games (minigolf, alien scum, and black jack)... Maybe it's because i've a provider-locked phone ???

Well, it's better to actually have all the pre-installed games than just having them take up 200 kB of memory

Yup. Mine is the R1d software. Initially, when you delete it off there will be a red cross however after you quit the menu and return to it again, it is gone. About the games, all you have to do is to overwrite the games with the same games that you have in the com or download it via wap and you are able to delete it off. Hope it works

Actually, I haven't noticed those red crosses everyone seems to talk about
If the game-thing works, I'll give you a big sloppy kiss

Ok, this is what happened: Downloaded Minigolf and Alien Scum. Then, I got a message saying: 'GameName.mpn already exists. Replace?'. When replacing the existing file, I lose free memory. But, guess what, it still claims to be using 200 kB for games... Deleting the games now, however, causes the memory used for games to drop. But I still have the same amount of free memory as when 200 kB was used for games.

Well, i didn't have this problem. I overwrite it and right now, i only have 42B(only one game)in my games. I am sorry if my tips didn't work. One more thing, what does the R1D software does? Didn't find any significant change in it

here are some of the changes in R1D011...
- Games loaded in factory remains after Master Reset
- Improved band switching when 1800 and 1900 bands are simultaneously present
- Added functionality to support 64 K SIM
- Added functionality to support lock possibility to forward DRM protected files
- Removal of Erix game as default game

I haven't noticed any changes memory-wise after upgrading. However, it seems to have alleviated my other problem, i.e. the phone turning off occasionally.
