Have you tried the K790_GDFS.BIN file. If its done correctly, you should not have any problem. Any way or the other you can try out my own saved GDFS
Here you go:

Happy to help my own Bro...I mean the K790i.

Thanks a lot @bishshoy007.
I have the bin file with me, but I have a problem with the phone as such, just the error message that I mentioned earlier.
As you had mentioned earlier in your earlier post, I dont want to upload the GDFS without problems.
I am planning to use the firmware and custom firmwares that you have provided and bring my phone up. Is it necessary for me to use the GDFS.
Sorry for the questions I am noob in this area.
PS: also if I am right in my assumption, can u tell me how to upload the custom firmware

. sorry about the qs again.
Thanks a lot again.

For minimizing hassles to the least I have finally decided to write my own tutorial.
Download XS++ from here->
http://www.4shared.com/file/40083571/c9f80c1a/XS_v31.html
Download all the files I had posted in my previous post.
Don't download the GDFS from topse's website. Download the one which I had posted ...(Tested).
Extract them all and copy all the extracted files to C:SE ...(Create the folder if it isnt)
There should be these files in the folder:
K790_R1KG001_FS_S_ASIA_LEVAN_RED52.fbn (File System - FS)
K790_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_EV_RED52.mbn (MAIN Firmware)
K790_GDFS_BACKUP.bin
Now open XS++.
Connect your phone to XS++.
Click GDFS button at the bottom.
Under restore GDFS option click the (...) button that will open the file explorer.
Now select c:SEK790_GDFS_BACKUP.bin
CLICK WRITE GDFS AND DONT STOP IN THE MIDDLE.
After thats done, disconnect the phone. Dont switch it on.
Close XS++.
Remove the battery and after 10 seconds again connect the phone to XS++.
The Flash tab will be automatically selected.
Check all boxes and under
"Flash Main Firmware" - Select K790_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_EV_RED52.mbn and NOT the fbn file.
"Flash File System" - Select K790_R1KG001_FS_S_ASIA_LEVAN_RED52.fbn
Under Customization, any "CDA and Region" under K790 (Phone Model) will do. Dont check "Dont upload SE WAP Links".
Ultimately Flash it. You're done.
PRECAUTIONS:
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Be sure to charge your battery to 100% before doing anything.
If not then atleast 30% should be there otherwise there will be a chance of hanging of XS++ in the middle of flashing.
If that happens dont worry repeat the above again.
Many a time if the process of flashing gets stopped in the middle, then you are not able to charge your phone battery. Then the only option is to charge the battery from other source and retry.
Happy flashing...
regards, bishshoy007
@ Bishshoy007
hey bro , i was told by the service station employee to wait for a week to get it done...
they said they're gonna send it somewhere else for repair...but i don think they are going to get accomplished...
so i'll surely go after you....
the link you've mentioned for the MAIN firmware is not working ....every time i go through the link it fails to download
i;ve downloaded all files rather than this.....
so can you post any other links for the MAIN file...
Again one thing:
i had not backed up my GDFS previously...but after putting back the firmware of k790i (after k818 to its previous state) again... i had once backed up the GDFS.....
so, do you think writing that GDFS back will work...plz help me out...
thanx....
@bishshoy007.
Thanx a lot dude...u saved the phone...
My problem was I did the flashing but didnt do the customization. With the links you gave it worked like a charm. I have now backed up my GDFS and its going great.
Thank You very much
GDFS has to be matched with the firmware. If one is the part, the other is the parcel. So if you have corrupted your gdfs but your firmware is still the same and going on well, then only gdfs flashing will do. But in your case, I suggest you take down the tutorial completely.
The Main's Link is working well. You can try the other link:
Try flashing to k818 again. I know if your gdfs has already recognize your k818 firmware previously, then now if you return to k818 your phone should work but without the network. What i personally think is that all these days since your phone was not in a good condition, the battery must have drained out. Thats what has happened to mine's, when i converted it to k810. I faced the same problem as you do now. And while charging it displayed "Charging Alien Battery" and however the battery did not take any charge.
If someone else has the same phone or the battery, you can give him your battery and after a fully charged condition, you know what to do. Repeat everything again. Also follow my latest (the second) tutorial by running over the gdfs. A red light blink usually means dead erom too. For that download the erom from :
http://forums.se-nse.net/inde[....]utocom=downloads&showfile=1060
flash the erom first as you do in main. Flash erom by selecting the bin file inside the archive as in main after flashing the firmware. Keep me updated. Sorry for late response. Also I wonder why they havent replaced your phone. You can insist.
