so judging by the comments ...
i think SE was and still is the most innovative company
k750/k800 = best cams in the industry
k850 (regardless of performance) = first phone to use accelerometer, slider mechanism option in camera, video light
c905 = first ever 8 MP announced, DLNA A-GPS (which by the way samsung innov8 has it as well)
So thn y ppl say SE is not innovative anymore??
IMO, SE were the forefathers of innovations , they started the trend, build a pathway for others to follow .. now they r having a prb perfecting tht trend .. but thtz a different issue
was it because other other phone manufacturer has a better innovation and implementation.....

C905 is within 1mm in each direction of K850 but is a slider, adds better cam, wifi and aGPS. I'd call that innovation.

V800 had rotating camera and 6 LED's which function as flash/video light/torch and also flashes to music beating W980 by 4yrs.

You can hardly call any SE phone innovative.
True innovation was N95's dual slider, E900's touch panel

To me innovation is new solutions that are real and practical which help enrich our lives. SE has real and practical solutions in their devices, but none of them are new since they are either constantly copying what other manufacturers produce or re-cycling their own innovative solutions from their golden era. Shake control could enrich our lives and is something new but not real or practical to me. Their business card scanner with the ability to translate text on business cards into digital format on the other hand is quite revolutionary in the business world IMO, but they are idiotic enough not to notice it as innovation and have not actually gone to any lengths at all to promote it. But that was 2 years ago, today nothing from SE just cuts it for me. 8mp is not innovation, just a fine tune to an innovative solution they provided years back.

There's no innovation from anybody nowadays. Just about everything has been thought of. Unfortunately. This is why we don't see many higher spec'd phones today than we did one or two years ago.
