@xpx actually the W760 has a 3.2 mega pixie camera! not that it really matters, without auto focus, its about as much use as a chocolate tea-cup..

facts mate:
5610 has a dedicated audio chip, w760 has none
w760 has megaBASS, a trademark from Sony
5610 camera has AF and takes crisp photos, w760 fixed focus cam
w760 headset is a LOT LOT better than what is bundled with 5610
w760 runs A200 UI of

which is an eye candy multi tasking platform
Equalisers in w760 cannot be customized but they are implemented better than 5610's
Your statement " w760 headset is a LOT LOT better than what is bundled with 5610" is not helping any of your arguement in any way shape or form. Thats just showing a personal opinion. Great phone though.

does a dedicated audio chip give better sound quality?
I wont be using the suppled headset, ill use a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter. So what one would give me the best audio quality overall? Oh and does this not have a customizable equalizer?
As for the camera ill be using it at night as well so i need flash something that the w760 doesn't have, and the actual camera software isn't that good from what i have seen.
I don't care much for the motion sensing nor the GPS since my primary form of transport is the buses (being 16 sucks lol)
So overall what phone has the best sound quality?
Hey dude I'm 35 and I STILL take the bus, having a greedy wife & kids really SUCKS!
You're better off skipping that Nokia and going for the ...
Nokia 5320 XpressMusic.
Why?
140 MB of user memory
- ARM 11, 369 MHz CPU - DSP chip for audio is built IN!
Symbian OS 9.3, S60 rel. 3.2 (and this model phone is CHEAP!)
2 MP, 1600x1200 pixels, video(QVGA@15fps) this part SUCKS though!
- 3.5 mm audio output jack
- FM stereo radio with RDS
Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP
- microSD (TransFlash), up to 8 GB; 512 MB or 1 GB microSD card included.
GSM: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
HSDPA HSDPA 2100 / 900 - Euro version,
850 / 1900 - American version.
8-way Navi key
- Dedicated music and N-Gage gaming keys
Candybar format: 108 x 46 x 15 mm, 67 cc .
Last thing, rest assured that any apps you purchase or "find" for install will be forward compatible when you choose to upgrade your phone to another S60 device. Right now we're STILL unsure if J2ME apps will be fully compatible with Capuchin future phones, as I'm sure the Flash implementation may break a few of them.

I agree with Prom1 rather wait until 5320XM is available, unless you need a good camera then get a 5610xm, but i highly recommend the 5320xm Smartphone.

are you sure it cannot be customized? i haven't seen w760 but as fas as i know, high-end SE always provide one EQ setting to be customized.

it has got customizable eq, when u select manual. However , if you need smartphone then 5320xm(or something like that), as mentioned by others, is a good option as well.
