Hi,

I used to have an R3A and got it recently replaced through my provider's Warranty Exchange Program to a R6F.

The R6F has a really strong bright blue background on the keypads, and when it comes off the clock screensaver, the background is a blueish black (not black).

It's funny that as i noticed this, i came across this post.

For some wierd reason, alot of color phones do that. My old sanyo spc-5000 does the some thing. I know that if you keep your phone near a magnet I could really harm your screen and probelly your hole phone, depends how strong the magnet is. If you dont like your screen you could always buy a new one on ebay for like 15 bucks. But my guess is that you'll probelly have that yellow spot in a different place. I never tried it on a sony so I donno buy I did do it on a nokia phone one and it worked.

New screens are only £19.99 in UK and ultrabright 0603 white leds about £2.00 each.
