exactly, so you need the full HTML data account settings from your provider (and you may need them to activate that on your account too) and then you can send and receive email using the built in email client of your phone

setting on my phone?sure..

Account name: Gmail
Connec using: myGlobe CONNECT ( im from PH )
Email address: (***@gmail.com)
Connection type: POP3
Incoming server: pop.gmail.com
Username:***
Password:***
Outgoing server:smtp.gmail.com

in my advance setting:
Encryption: TLS/SSL
Outgoing Username: (blank)
Outgoing password: (blank)
Incoming port:995
Outgoing port:465

Does k810i phone support full html browsing? or do i need to have a 3rd party software such as mini opera?

> Select the Data Account on the option labeled "Connect Using" (Example: Smart Internet)
> Email address: (Complete Email Address)
> Connection type: POP3
> Incoming server: pop.googlemail.com
> Username: (Complete Email Address)
> Password: (Gmail Password)
> Outgoing server: smtp.googlemail.com
> Advanced settings:
>> Encryption: SSL for both Incoming and Outgoing servers
>> Outgoing username: (Complete Email Address)
>> Outgoing password: (Gmail Password)
>> Incoming port: 995
>> Outgoing port: 465

Then after that, you need to install some certificates on your phone. Click the following link to download the certificates. (http://rapidshare.de/files/40248724/Certificates.zip.html)

It works perfectly on my K800i. It will not work on either myGlobe CONNECT or myGlobe INET. It only works on either Smart GPRS or Smart Internet.

yah im from the philippines as well. i tried both yahoo mail and gmail in globe but both of them did not work. it will only on smart.
