@ Super, of Question but have you ever used 02?

Yes i've been an o2 customer since 2001 when they we're still BTcellent so i know how good they can be and how bad they can be.

I work for Vodafone and have an o2 contract, i get laughed at all the time in work because i use an iPhone. Does it bother me? nope.

One thing i can't be called is blinker, i buy what i want from who i want.

Simply really.

1: Customer service is as good if not better than any other network.

Umm, and thats a fact how?

I don't need to prove myself to you or anyone to be honest, I've seen alot of shit from all the networks in my time, and from I'VE seen, Vodafone, and Three have the worst CS I've ever had to deal with. Orange were good untill they moved all their call centres to India, O2 aren't faultless either, they do dippy things to us from time to time, as do T-Mobile (I have a T-Mobile contract too for my boyfriend), nobodys perfect.

I do not wear 'O2 tinted glasses' as you put it, my manager is constantly telling me off for slagging off O2 lol, I'm the only salesperson in the shop who sells by what he believes in, not where his targets are set for that month.

Take O2 broadband, from everything I've seen it's expensive and shit, yet somehow we're expected to push it like it's going to save the universe, but I tell it like it is because I simply don't do the whole 'lying salesman' thing, I'm prolly too honest to be in my job lol

Cause I've experienced their customer service first hand at The Link, and they were/are awful! We used to sit on hold for (I'm not kidding) hours waiting for them to set up a contract for us (back in the days before online contracts in store).

Went into the local Three (3) store the other week with a mate and there were 4-5 of the staff there just having their own conversation about some stuff that I'm sure our parents wouldn't have wanted us to hear, and pretty graphic too.
not to mention that two of them were women and were just sitting on the desk making a roll up...

Great staff there...

@ Super,

There more thn likely just jealous that you own a iPhone

I was with 02 "Cellnet" since the prepay Philips Digi "U" handset was available, 5p texts were wicked back then and texting wasn't so popular

02's prepay CS is pretty good again they still went out of there way to sort stuff out back then

James I really would like to see how you are within your store watch this space haha!

tbh pesky students piss me off my boss tellls me not to keep items back for customers and students take this way to seriousley they storm of in a huff

what else annoys me is that hundreds of them are standing out on the streets you cannot get into Greggs for a quick bite for them :/

Apart from one or two clueless wierd customer service assistants O2 customer service for me is great. And nothing like Orange waiting on the phone for an hour

Yeah I've had a similar experience in my local Orange shop, they just chat amongst themselves and totally ignore the customers.

Been with o2 for 3 years now and always had good service with them, CS is always been good. They also have good offers and great reception. o2 seem to be getting ll the good press in the last few months/year. They got the dome and the iphone so it seems as they are the preferred network in the UK.
