Ok I will try to create a post regarding that. Anyway, what do you mean "can i call you bro"? Do you mean you're gonna call me on my phone or you're gonna call me "bro"? Hehe.

what i did is plug out my phone fm the laptop and browse thru opera mini 2.06 and 4.2.
i just call my girl and load me all txt 20 and i can browse the net for free using OM. hehe.
by the way, is this a bug on smart isp or is it just for free (naawa sila sa smart users?).

I don't know if it is a bug. Kasi ngayon eh free ang internet browsing using socket connection and not http. I'm not sure if smart is aware of that. Possible they did something with their network kaya nagkaganon. Or possible na hindi alam ng smart na pwede pala maaccess ang internet sa network nila using socket kasi by default, http talaga ang connection sa smart.

huh. are you sure? im still using http connection. im browsing right now and my only load is all txt 20 (loaded by my girl last night) with nothing at all just the 95 msgs available.
i cant connect usingh socket connection.
according to them (smart) its free browsing in their site. and if you browse outside their network, network charge may apply. i guess there is where the glitches starts. or baka naman galit lang talaga mga technicians(IT dept nila) sa smart management. what do you think? he he he he
anyways, sana habang naka smart pa ako ganun pa rin sa smart.

@iamsinned06: Mejo hindi ko ata nagets ung iba mong sinabi ah, hehehe! Ganito yan. Sa Opera Mini 4.2, free ang browsing using Smart network if Socket connection gagamitin mo.

There is a way by configuring the network proxy settings of Opera 9.5. I was able to do that before in IE but I haven't tested it again.
do you have the settings now?

Recently, I tried using my K800i phone as a modem again on my computer to experiment on how to browse the Internet for free. I'm using Opera 9.62 and it seems like nagwowork cya but not for all sites. Limitations are minsan hindi makapasok sa mga secured sites tapos hindi din makapagdownload minsan. But one thing na siguradong gagana eh ang Yahoo! Messenger. Hehehe! :-)
