> MP3 Player as a 2nd memory for P800?

You can get memory stick usb adapters, so you could have the ms as a removable disk and copy files to it the same way as when using the mp3 player

why bother? When you connect the P800 to the USB cradle, Windows does see it as just another drive that you can drag and drop files into.
Oh, and connecting your P800 via Bluetooth or IR has the same results... the phone or PC doesn't care how you connect them... the P800's memory banks (Phone & Memstick) are accessed the same way as pictured above, just like another hard drive.

Because the transfer thru the USB cradle is very slow... It would take forever to fill a 128 MB Stick with music. Normally MemoryStick is much faster, so once we get some bigger MS DUO Sticks, it would probably be a good idea to find another way to transfer to MS DUO...like a seperate MemoryStick reader.

No, you can only set it at 460 Kbit/s and not 4 Mbit/s

I can confirm that I have tried connecting the MP3 player with a 128 MB MMC card and it unfortunately doesn't work. I can also recommed that you do not use the cradle/data cable to transfer mp3s. You are much better off buying a card reader or a PCMCIA adaptor (if you have a lap top).
