And with your pentax, turn of the flash and set it to a loooooong exposure time and on a flat surface i think you see another result. This is what the i-mobile users do to get nice night shots i guess..
Exactly. With i-mobile 902's shutter speeds of up to 10 seconds (EV +2.0 at ISO 50) you need a tripod or some other support unless you're a fan of blurry photos.

ok ok Pitzon. (Jesus Christ)...it has NOTHING to do with flash...satisfied ??
i dont know if its you who act like a idiot right now............
I UNDERSTAND THAT THE FLASH DOSENT LIGHT UP A BUILDING 200M AWAY (thats common sense).
BUT IT SURELY EFFECT MY PICTURES, (the FLASH lower the iso who make colours and everything better...YES ?)..........so once AGAIN,
the flash make this happen....(or do you really suggest something else ?)
Raederski.....neither my K750 or w810 produced this type of lowlight pics with its LED flash, (it looks
Crap when i use its LED at night)...............so it must been some kind of improvement by SE...yes ??? (then if it takes 1 week or 1 month to test this camera settings i dont know).
by the way...im not some rookie. i understand that i can set the exposure longer (flash off) and then get better lowlight on a ordinary camera
(its one of the first steps you learn as a child if you ever used a analog camera, its no rocket science)
more full auto...iso-200...flash fired...looks so much better then before
if you want full size. just let me know

Lol why is it whenever I see a plankgatan thread I know when I read it, there will be an argument and a very dry one at that. I don't understand though what's generous about a LED flash light. If they did spend so much time improving the LED flash, I'm then annoyed because I'd much rather want to see an improved cam driver then an LED flash which does next to nothing.

Plank, for what we need K750 and W810 here? forget about them, you did comparision between pics with LED and no LED, so let's focus on them only. pics looks better which is natural consequence of lower ISO, that's all we want to say, no need to glorify SE dudes

remember that there's still quite big reserve buffer between quality which you see now and this what camera can do if you use max parameters (2s exposure with low ISO)

So why not add a mode to a custom driver that tricks the phone into thinking the flash is on to get the requires ISO, then we save battery and have warmer images. Manually setting the ISO like on the K850i is of course the most wanted thing, but since (as far as I know) only the K850i has this we can try other means on getting the desired results? Like super mode drivers and my suggestion above for those phone who can't have super mode drivers due to other restrictions.

I wouldn't say turning on the LED flash for night pics is better in every situation, there are uses for higher ISO pics at times as it has been quite handy in occasions when certain colour tones would cause noise. You can get rid of it by switching off the LED flash but steady hands is a pre-requisite for this method. I've done a lot of flash tests on my W902 but never did it strike me as an 'ingenious' invention. If anything, the LED flash itself is crappy and useless especially for a "Cybershot" branded phone. You're a funny dude plank.

thanks for all replys.
the ONLY thing i wanted to show was the difference between LED-flash and no LED-flash outdoor with this cellphone.
(im not interested if the flash lights up 20cm, 1m or 2000m), i just show what a better quality you get IF you use the flash outdoor in right environments...thats all.
(and yes mode, you have a point, my last ISO-500 night picture is taken without flash, and it became better)
over and out

Because if you had access to the source of the actual driver and not just the parameter tuning file people call a driver here at Esato, then there would be much more customizing. For one, I'd buy the C902 and then make noise reduction and sharpening adjustable in the camera UI.
