Ah, but MWEB.
If people feel they have no other way to express themselves then good on'em.
What else are you gonna do? Withdraw the savings that they haven't got?
And I'm surprised at you!

Nah, mindless violence and vandalism never solved anything IMO, nothing wrong with protests, and demo marches, to highlight a just cause however.

Yeah, OK.
Your livelyhood might have just gone done the plughole. You've spent years trying to get across to those in charge that its just not working. You pay tax upon tax for no benefit?
I'll tell you what. Write to your MP - the one thats claiming for 2 homes and £100,000 a year while your business suffers.
EDIT: It was a bank and not someone's home. Think!
I'll give you the stamp.

Breaking and entering, destruction of property and beating people doesnt solve anything. Most of the people that have caused trouble at the protests are not interested in the points that people are prtotesting about but are more interested in causing trouble.
The damage to the RBS building yesterday will now have to be paid for so even less money in the bank.

But your trying to make out that everybody who protests is intent on just smashing windows just for the sake of it, when you know that it isn't so.
You know what make me sick? People who cry about protecting their right to protest and freedom of speech but when the push comes to the shove, they bail out.
Use it or Lose it!
People can make a difference if they stick together and get their point of view across.

My point was that the few who did cause trouble were not interested in the protest itself but only on causing damage. these were a very small amount of people compared to the people who were peacefully protesting.
I completely agree with protesting if it is a subject that you feel you are being wronged by. It is just unfortunate that there is a small minority that give protesters a bad name by becoming violent. It is the violent protests that will cause the government to restrict out rights to protest.

Far from me to think that any 'peaceful protest' has got us anywhere in the past, but do you not think there is some sense of urgency to what is going on right now?
Should we not protest anymore because of a unruly minority?
Protest, whether it with pens or with feet, is protest. There is a lot of f**ked off people out there right now. What to you expect them to do? Wait for the next election?
OK, I'll put the kettle on and wait.
