Neither is my downstairs one, but it supports up to 1080i...
Bought before the HD Ready standard, see. It might still do HD.

Yeah indeed, LCDs that were out before the HD standard. Will most likely accept at least a 720p or 1080i connection... so in effect it is still HD. I think!
