I seem to have an even worse memory problem on my T300 - when I copy a small image (e.g. 3kb) to the phone, it takes up 11kb instead. In picture properties it tells me the image is only 3kb, but when I go to memory status it tells me it is 11kb!

Is this a software problem? I'm not sure what version I have. Do you have to pay to update it?

Thanks.

That's normal, its all like that on T68i/ T300, its just the way the phones handle the memory, which taken more space than the actual file size..........nothing to worry though........we just have to live with it !!!

If you do a "master reset" and at exactly 13 seconds turn the phone off by removing the batt, then leave the phone for 30 sec's, them turn the phone back on. The phone will take about 20 seconds to switch on- the phone will have v.slow response, so switch the phone off then on again.

You will now have no space-grabbing pre-installed items, and around 600kb free space. Hope this helps.

I use them together with HBH-20. Works great except voice dial and such. Latest sw in both.

Enter your menu, go into settings. the last option is master Reset. Chosse 'Reset All' (you will loose all information!!!)

Have the back part of your cover removed, so you can perform the 13 seconds trick

Good luck.
