Blerk, A2 GDFS backup is not possible even with Linux and PhoneXS 4.1Beta. Can be done with a SEToolBox3 (Not Free!) Backup of DB2012/DB2020 CID53 and PNX is possible tho' with PhoneXS4.1.

To flash the phone you need a2uploader in windows. To make a GDFS backup of a new phone you need PhoneXS which is Linux only for now. It is quite simple really. I have several firmware versions for the C702 here, R3DA029 Western Europe with original SEUS customize files (Extracted it myself after a flash). Or some newer version with only Russian and English.
Best way to go is to flash it with an older version, change the CDA to the region/languages you need and then use SEUS to get the latest firmware.
@Boysie99, It is possible with some CID53 phones, I've made some GDFS backups with it just fine, haven't tried my C902/C702 though, I flash without the backups
So no free GDFS backup option for A2 platform then? Too bad. Seems development of those has grinded to a halt. No more FAR plugin updates, no more XS++ updates, and a2uploader can't do much apartfrom flash and up/download files.

Lol, that is just me. Just answering his questions to the best of my ability. If it was my phone I'd downgrade it and then use SEUS to reflash it. Easy peasy.

no reason to change!!!! as yet...

Hello there. I'm having similar type of problem as well. My new C702 restart itself time to time, it's no larger issue i guess i can live with. I had a g700 before who I wasn't satisfied with, moving up to c702 feels much better.
