when I browse thru gizmodo....they just link me to a site claiming APPLE have respond to enquiry over the agreement
APPLE still committed to their 30pin dock connector...very likely they just offer one adapter to allow charging thru their product....and it seem like it don't mean USA or Asia will get the same treatment but as we know since Nokia/ Samsung/ SE/ LG/ Motorola consider company tht make phone globally...we hope its just having microUSB straight to the phone instead of having some freaking adapter..... i don't want to connect an adapter to fast port and then over a charger with microUSB connector....that will be frustrating.

Good news indeed. When this painful port disappears then I’ll think to buy another phone from SE.

I’ll skip the satio only for this port. Who had problem with this port ones, he/she think 10 times before buy another phone with this port.

I don't know why I have a feeling that they'll put a microUSB port only for charging and keep the FastPort for data transfer/headphones etc.

Ya this is good move everything should follow some standards so that the end users cannot depend on the manufacturers products. Also we can use any chargers for any standard mobiles. But after market products for a company will definitely face problem. Then can't get profits with their after market products. But companies always should satisfy the customers with whatever the problems, or requirements... Thats the sign of a profitale company.

I can;t imagine if SE have a phone that come with microUSB plus 3.5mm audio jack plus a fastport haha...

hmmm but having microUSB as audio jack replacement isn't a bad idea since I remember company like motorola is using that as a solution right?

This is a great move and especially as Sony Ericsson will finally be rid of the cumbersome port i hate it. Though one good thing about the Sony Ericsson fast port is it does always fit securely and never wobbles whilst charging

(sarcasm) Yeah I've never had any issues with SE's fast port while charging or listening to music....
