> Need convincing to buy a P800

i dont need convincing to get it, ill be purchasing one this march (graduation). but i aint gettin rid of my T68i... its gonna stay with me forever.
i dont really believe in all the hype they keep sayin bout the P800, i want and will experience it for myself...

I'm with you on that. I still have two T68i's but I will only sell one and keep my trusty other one until I am happy with the P800.. probably in a couple more software upgrades (as it was before I was really happy with the T68i).

I'm with you on that one too! I used to be a NOKIAite but I think they have lost the plot but each to their own I guess.

buy it now it is worth it. smaller than u think. not bulky at all still fits in all my pockets and i forget i have it in there sometimes.

i also have a nokia 6310i and 7650 which i mainly use coz i dont want to forget how a nokia feels like...

THE biggest problem with the p800 i have found is to text while driving you need the keypad left on it & you have to use multitap, & as i`m not prepaired to do either of these i have stopped texting while driving, this is great because i was doing it SO often that sooner or later i was going to kill myself, or someone else, police say its alarmingly common for people to crash while writing an sms. & i was getting so complacent about it that i`m happy i can`t do it. if it`s urgent i can phone them if not i wait, as i`m often driving my 30ft 6ton motorhome.

from where im from, it is (considered, but never enforced) illegal to use your mobile while driving unless you're using a handsfree... but ya cant write sms with a handsfree...

And I thought you were extremely supportive of SE not including T9 in the P800??
Anyway, once I got the P800 and held the baby in my hands, I knew it was all worth it-- the half year wait, the savings, etc. P800 has got to be the best gadget ever produced.

I wasn't. I know you are happy with no T9 on the phone, and all can read that you are glad the phone is going to save your life. But I did detect a very slight hint of discontentment with the absence of T9 and I just had to dig it. Sorry.
