One problem I am facing though, when i first loaded up the You Tube app, I accidently set the language to Spanish, and no matter how hard i look there seems to be no option to change it back! so everytime I search for something i get Spanish video's! anyone know where the option for this is?

when you on you tube scrol down the page ... there you have "Current language" click on the spanish and there you have the choice of different languages

Thanks for the continued feedback everyone.

The battery life does seem to be improving with every charge and I've had no new lock ups so I'm really only bothered by the poor gps issue. Could just be a fault with that so I might get them to do a switch if possible. Shame as I've got it all configured nicely now !

Handytaskman is helping with the application shutdowns and I'm keeping it clear where possible.

GPS on mobile phones is a funny issue. Through my experience ive found sometimes theres no reason for the phone not to get a lock, but refuses, then other times ive been surprised at the poor conditions in which my Nokia N95 picked up the GPS. My N95 never seems to pick up GPS when set still, but when speeding along the motorway at 70mph its often picks up the GPS signal within seconds.

I always keep assistance off, as ive found through trial and error it can take longer for the GPS to lock if it also has help from cell tower signals. As strange as that sounds, its a bit like the added information from the cell towers confuses the phone(s) further.

Im looking forward to getting my Satio, but im worried about the lack of Nokia maps ive become accustomed to this past 2 years. Is Google maps fully downloadable or do the maps on the Satio stream as per other Google map equipped phones ?

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my You Tube post.

But I was actually talking about the dedicated app, that can be found by going to Organiser>My App's>You Tube.

there doesnt even seem to be any settings that can be changed on it!

I shld recieve my Satio sometime next week and i am gettin really eager. I have my C905 now and i was really unsure to buy the satio or not. I have fear that it will be a waste of my hard earned money without deeper thinking The only thing i hated about c905 was the keyboard (...and GPS yes). SMS is my nightmare. Still, is 420 pounds worth it?

I'm going to swap the batteries between my W960i (950 mAh) and Satio (1000 mAh). The W960i battery seems to last forever, or 12 hours straight, with FM/Walkman constantly on.

Why?

I've ALWAYS charged my brand new devices overnight, for the very first time. I didn't with the Satio, because I thought it might have been overkill these days.

I've previously read here that other peoples' W960s had poor battery life, and now wonder if a lack of a first time non-overnight charge was the problem. My Satio battery life is absolutely p**s poor. :(

I realise the Satio will be much more power hungry than my W960i. But if I notice any improvement then it's a start.

Time (or rather battery life) will tell!

Thought i'd have my say in here....

1. Battery life - I think i'd be getting about 2-3 days out of it....from about 12pm one day it had only gone down a 1/4 by the next morning....i've been constantly uploading stuff to it, so it hasn't had a full day without being connected to the PC

2. GPS - First attempt couldn't work it out, where i live has a slow internet connection, so put it down to that...i installed Garmin Mobile XT this morning, and it not connects within about 7 seconds, and thats even sitting in my living room too

3. 3.5 Jack - Doesn't bother me as i very rarely use headphones or any thing like that

4. Stability - The only lock ups i've had is with my Garmin App....but i have found out its a problem with the version i have, it works ok for everything except browsing the map

5. Signal strength - I had been using a o2 sim in it until my number transferred across today and the signal was far better than the X1 i had before this one, so no gripes there either

All in all, i love this handset, however for a 12mp camera i though it should have been slightly better, but hell, its better still better than all the other phones i've every owned....lets just hope that it continues to impress
