It really is silly that SE hasn't designed c905, Satio and any other phones that have a lens-cover with the L.E.D. outside of the cover so that it could be used as a torch. . . . . .Seems so very simple......

Just check the phone whichever doesn't have a lens cover that covers the LED will support torch function.except k810 K800 k790.
But all phones can be used a torch when recording video.

W902 is actually a true W810 suitor design wise and function wise so you should go for that
K850 might be a little complicated for your old man to get used to

Choose K850i. It has torch function with 3 powerful LEDs. I often use it as torch and everybody just impressed by it.

I just checked and although the C902 has a LED flash, it doesn't have the flashlight option anywhere.

K850 has it, but it also has too much bugs ... I'd go for W610, K770 or C702
