WTF. I did't know it. You see day by day I learn more things about this phone. I just did it and guess what....I does exactly as you said. SE are awesome, I love them. What happen if a mod the display driver...It does the same?

It still be working after modding dispdriver. I had driver by brazzuka and worked fine.

Yeah, the light sensor is working evenafter you mod your display driver. I have been using couple of it for last 4-5 months.
About sides, silver-blue strips, it is possible to change as few guys here in esato have already did. They have changed the silver with black and kept the blue line as it is. So their K850i is more personalised.
i dont know who did so.
