I had the same problem. But i buyed new charger and cleand fastport with alcohol and then with grafit pen and now it works fine. Sorry for bad english.

yer i have cleaned it.
It only just been repaired by O2, had a new bpoard fitted in, so the contatson it are clean and dirt free
