@ strizlow800: Thanks for the info. To be honest very weary to do it myself incase i mess up the phone in the process, that's why i tend to leave it in the hands of someone who does know how to flash phones.

Dear Sony Ericsson UK Customer Services,
What are the latest firmware updates for the W800i? How old is the R1AA008 firware?
Then it means that R1AA008 could not be the latest firmware available for my handset then. I have not updated my handset firmware since i had it from 01/2006 as i had no reason to as i was not experiencing any issues with the current firmware or hardware within that time. So i don't understand why SEUS is not detecting my W800i firmware to updated to the new ones even there is new firmware available for it?
