Yeahh, they charge 50 quid for that. No thank you. Should be free. Why should I have to pay to get a decent signal?

Its femtocells they use it gives you full 3G signal in your home by plugging it into your broadband connection. upto 4 people can connect at once in the house.

Should be free. So I guess I'll be moving to vodafone then once I've done a final signal check on Monday. Will be interesting to see if O2 will be interested in matching it when I ask for my PAC number. If they want to keep me as a customer then they'll have to offer me something better.

I get no 3G signal with voda at 6th form, however normal signal is fine. I get 3G signal with O2 at 6th form. Is there much of a difference between 2G and 3G? All I will be using it for is facebook really.
What should I say to O2? Do I just ask for my PAC number?
Thanks

dizzybee 3g is better because when it comes to surfing the internet etc you will get a faster speed than non 3g as in 2g.

are o2 not that good at mathmatics. in there current add in the paper. it boasts "weev doubled the texts this month" (the offer quotd is 700mins 1400txts and unlimitd web) the previous deal was 600mins and 1200txts which theyve had for months. are they doing the supermarket con trick. they put a product up for just a day then next day they offer it half price. which is just slightly cheaper than the original price lol. how can they be allowed to get away with say offering the deal of 600mins and 700txts ?for a few days at end of december. then claiming theyve doubled the texts offering 1400. when theyve had 1200txts in the deal for ages?

O2 need to look at what rival networks are offering and offer the same if they want new customers. And why do they give you double texts if you buy online?
Is there really much of a difference between 2G and 3G? Apparently for stuff like facebook you dont need 3G. And the samsung u600 has 2G right?
Thanks
