Thanks so much for your help
I am getting the offer , buying that whit jet for 100$, but I will check for new phones by SE and Nokia before my summer holidays -By then I hope tha Vivaz is already well known and commented and maybe SE surprises me with a nice touch screen with Walkman sound.
I had to take my grey parrot Greta to the hospital and I don't think I can pay for a new Vivaz right now(+-400e).
Thanks again!

For me it is very important a phone can output the full spectrum of frequencies, maybe you don't mind losing high, low and mid tones but some of us do

Sure it is, but all I wanna say is that those stats don't say everything and that the most important thing is in the end how it really sounds. The stats indicate that, but real experience says more imo. But that's just my opinion

hmm... that Vivaz looks VERY nice!
but why an LED flash, and not xenon?

that just kills it for me.
Put the C905's camera/xenon flash in that Vivaz body, and SE would have a winner right there, no doubt

but don't do that, they don't put a good camera together with good music, they must be aiming to keep people always wanting something more - wanting a new phone that has great music if they have a camera-phone or vice versa

Yes, but when some phones like HTC and some SE phones like C901 clearly do not output a whole block of frequencies you will miss out on that. I don't but based on the spectrum readings, but they are important. I have a Nokia 5800XM now which simply sounds superb, and the tests back this up. So when I see a bad test like the Jet, I'm cautious, and wanted to warm the TS of that here. We're all being helpful, and we're all very picky in particular fields, for me that's audio.

As a ground rule, like you said, testing it yourself is the best way. Bring your headphones and a memoery card with some music to the shop and ask for a try, surely when you're willing to spend (in my case 300-350 pounds) they should let you test drive. It is a lot of money after all.

For OP it seems he has better thigns to spend his money on right now, and the Jet is not a bad phone too. Not my choice, but certainly could do much worse that the Jet.
