Well , sorry for my late response.Ive been offline for awhile.
My settings have worked fine all the time even when my provider is down so i dont know if i have posted the wrong settings.
they are for R520, but i dont think its designed to work for my model specifically, soit should work for u too...
and u got it working good for u.
Was it any fault of mine in the settings?

Hey, i found the sollution on the POP3-settings topic here (just wanted to tell everyone)

First the standard home.se settings (they are in the same topic). For vodafone, you have to use this data account (thanx burmistrz)

Mail GPRS:
1.APN: internet.vodafone.net
2.user id: (blank)
3.password: (blank)
4.password request: off
5.allow calls: automatic
6.ip address: ...
7. DNS address: ...
8.advan.settings:
1.authent.: normal
2.data compr.: off
3.header compr.: off
4.quality of serv.:
1.precedence:subscribed
2.delay:subscribed
3.reliabilyty:class 3
4.peak rate:subscribed
5.mean rate:subscribed

They are for swedish vodafone data account, to work with home.se mail. If you use "services.vodafone.se" you cant use external mail except for their mail, or at least it was so for me.. Home.se mail is great imho
