I noticed today when I made a call to my doctors that the call on a busy street was audible. I think sometimes it depends on the quality of the line too as I have spoken to several people since I got my X10 & they sounded quite loud but the only one which was not was an incoming call from my dad I could hardly hear him at all but again I do think it can be down to the quality of the line or the phone the other end is using on how loud it comes across

I think its more down to your network than the phone being that low in call, it is lower than normal though. You could try a Walkman headset like the W995 which should be good since its the only with a 3.5mm jack.

Leave iPhone alone, once you've mastered the 'hold' you can appreciate its superiority. Try talking to someone who has an iPhone 4, its like a tin of beans with a string on the end.
