No trust me the Super AMOLED screen is probably the best I have ever seen in direct sunlight. Believe me its truly the most viewable screen in sunlight and daylight. Super AMOLED is very much improved over the older type. And also I did have an x10 loved it at first until I had problems with 2 of them running the latest update too. Its not as speedy as the Galaxy I am sorry to say.

@SEC905: You know since you used SE phone right before X10 I believe you didn't notice the differences in the speed, because from all the SE phones I tried it wasn't that big of a problem. Seems to be an awesome device for gaming due to the large screen then since you almost left your PSP to dust when hangingout hehe.
@Bonovox: from the regular AMOLED experience I had too much hassle to use the phone under direct sunlight. But never checked on the SUPER version of it so from your experience then I'll take your words.
@SKIBBE: I KNOW I KNOW SAME TO ME IT'S THE BEST SE MODEL I USED, ALONG WITH P900i. IT'S WAY TOO COOL AND UNIQUE AND FEELS SO "JAPANESE KEITAI" HEHE! MIGHT GET IT BACK FROM MY BRO WHO STOLE IT FROM ME.
@skblakee: hmm I was reading the review of Galaxy S and it seems to be an awesome device MINOR the iPhone-like look in hardware and the main menu UI, because I don't want my friends to go like: oh is that the new iPhone etc,

Now I am convinced with buying the X10i, the question that asks itself is: which color? (I have sweaty hands so I thought the black is better due to the rubbery back) the white looks unique and beautiful though.

galaxy s is definately not without faults, actually i think ive read about more faults compared to the x10. one of the main issues is the internal memory of the galaxy. the memory they used is, well, slow! (currently anyway, perhaps a firmware update can resolve it) which causes lag once a number of apps are installed.
the main things we hear about with the x10 are people complaining about it not having anything newer than 1.6.
in terms of build, I do prefer the look and feel of the x10.... I dont get how people say the x10 has poor build? the phone is definately more solid than the galaxy s. Yes the galaxy weighs less, but the materials used feel of a lesser quality compared to x10

Personally, I find the X10 quite difficult to hold and if it wasn't for me using a wrist strap I'd be dropping it more than once a week.
The white X10 would be a nightmare as it has no rubber battery cover, however, I'm switching to the white version soon as I think it's one of the best looking pieces of kit out there. Stunning!

@Greater than Fivehundred(hehe): Also you forgot the uniqueness X factor of the Galaxy S which is almost non-existance since it looks exactly like the iPhone 3G and 3GS in term of hardware and UX.
@goldenface: You tried holding the Black or White version of X10? and what phone are you using right now?

I'm using the black X10 right now and even with the rubber back, it still manages to slip out of my hands quite easily
A wrist strap is a must for me with this phone.

Slow...! ? What do you mean by slow? Slow transfer speed?
Could anybody (Galaxy Owners) confirm that Galaxy S internal memory is slow? What's the average write speed you get?
