I have managed to get a dell 690 workstation for only £600 + 2 x LG 22" Flatrons for £150 so £750 in total.
It is running 2x Quad core Intel Xeon 3.3ghz
16GB DDR2
3x 300GB HDD
4x ATI Firepro v3700
What do you guys recon? Runs really well so far.
Was thinking of getting a SSD for the operating sytem.. worth it or not?

SSD's are very very pricy at the moment and you'll see hardly any improvement whatsoever, I'd wait at least till the price comes down
