I played with a iPod touch 4G and compared it with my own 2G version in the apple store last week,
its just slightley smaller missing the silver lining as you say,
but its just packed more with more to do ive had my 2G for 2 years and not a problem with it at all,
if the 4g has these faults it will prob be fixed via updates apple are rolling updates out every 2-3months
now its been that since i updated from 4.0.1 lol
it would be brill if apple brought out a brandnew phone next year but I think
there just bringing out a White version aren't they of the current
white is nice but again attenna would they have fixed this?
I think having the iPod touch is better then ive got the best of both,
no point having a phone thats constantley on recharge every day with ehat im gunna use it for anyway

I've got to charge my Desire daily so don't mind doing that same with an iPhone
Nope though, It's likely that when the Apple bumper case promotion ends (30th Sept) they'll announce a slightly modified iPhone with no antenna issues, and a white model following. Next July I can promise you there will be a new model, as there has been every year.

LOL I think Android is the way to go more choice of phones and with the playstation phone arriving with no
doubt Android firmware I don't think Apple with have a Pip to stand on
HTC are fireing out alot of phones atm ok apple have the upper hand with more games atm but thats gunna eventually change, the desire is also considered better then the iPhone 4
btw due a upgrade July don't know if its pointless having a iPod touch and a
iPhone what the fun in that having the same devices
I just want iPod btw atleats its more reliable and im not gunna have to many issies with it in the longrun

It'll take a good year or two before the market becomes really competitive, in which time I'll probably have switched phones about 2 times and be leaving for uni
Fair points though, really impressed with my Desire, and from what I've seen of the Wildfire it seems great too!
Good luck finding an iPod, and be sure to post some pictures somewhere

Yeah its amazing how the wildfire is so much like the desire,
if it had the same screen as the desire it would be a totally badass phone
Im not looking at any phones btw till nearer July,
i may aslo change networks to cos vodafones reception has become so kak lately
*Sigh*
Well Im hoping my mates at Currys digital have kept me one back,
otherwise I wont be happy this Saturday
Fingers Crossed!!!!!

I'm fed up with O2, going to try 3, T-Mobile and Vodafone each on monthly contracts and see which has the best 3G signal in my area and then get myself a proper contract with the best
O2 contract is finally ending in about a week, and their redemptions offered me, wait for it, a free Elm on £20/m...

ive got a good tariff on Vodafone but the 3G signal has become so crap over the last 12
months I don't know why had a new sim card of them but it's gone back to crazy again lol
I will miss 1471 option if i leave them though

Three seem awesome, £10 monthly contract with 100mins, 3000 texts, 1GB internet, and 3000 3to3 minutes, just not sure what the signal will be like!
Monthly contract means if I see a great deal I can quickly change networks too, and make some money by selling any phone I get, which is what I did with my C905 about a year back

I'm more excitied as I have not brought a new ipod since 2004! my ipod mini is too old now for me to do anything on it but play music and its starting to fill up as its only a 4gb.
-this thread is getting more offtopic
its more about networks and iphones now
