I've heard that even Galaxy S (i9000) running froyo supports hdmi output with a micro usb to hdmi cable. I've not such a cable; so can't verify if its true.

The official Samsung HDMI adapter doesn't look to be out for quite a while yet but there's one by BizLite over at Mobile Fun that should be in over the next fortnight (website says 9-14 days)
Cheaper than the official one too. Agreed that it's quite annoying having no TV-out on the 3.5mm jack!
