yeah but isn't XPERIA a series brand? like with vaio laptops they have the C, E, F series etc. I suppose that they are going to focus only on the smartphone segment, but still would seem a little strange. 'Check out the new Sony XPERIA smartphones'
Hmmm maybe I could warm to the idea, I would like it if they make ericsson the sub brand name and thus changing nothing
Yes unlikely, but they that name does have a good following of fans so why remove it!

Possible, bit boring though like if they named all their products 'Sony Laptop', 'Sony Camera', 'Sony Tablet' . Maybe they could incorporate the awesome
as sony's logo in general. Yeah stupid suggestion but....

i really hope that we get a statement from ericsson regarding their next steps
in sweden people are probably celebrating this day on the streets
it would be really really sad to loose another european mobile brand
these days it doesn't take that much to bring a handset to the market (amazon)
i personally decided 3 years ago that i will never buy a sony product again (i didn't count sony ericsson)
nokia here i come ?... we will see
