God I hated Norton especially 360 it slowed my pc to a crawl & mine is quad core
I use AVG full purchased one it's excellent. Also Microsoft Security Essentials is good too.

its not been a "heavy program" for a couple of years now. They've made it quite light now and in fact only takes a few minutes to install compared to the old days.
Its certainly doesn't consume much CPU on my pc but when I check the monthly log, it has certainly protected me very well!

Oh ok well I have yet to try the newer ones. Norton is made by Currys or PC World is think. Or made for them as they always promoting it.

Symantec, a huge US company.
Actually Symantec bought out Nortons some years ago. I used to use their Norton Utilities back in DOS and early windows days for defragmenting disks and other such things

It's why they sell you it when u purchase
A Pc you can also find trial versions of it on ur
Currys bought pc aswell

anyway I decided to re-install windows regardless of not having a EX
Hard drive I lost alot of stuff and im not happy!
I hope these idiots are caught fast
stay away from anything that says free online people or this will happen to you
