Sony Ericsson made your sick beloved Nokia look to cameras when its top smartphones not come even close quality wise.
It's a simple fact.
How many years Nokia took to make a phone for match even K750i?
How many crap sensors with carl zeiss lenses Nokia did to match K790?
Now talk about Sony.
Who are present on the biggest brands in camera department?
Who makes the best mirror-less cameras?
Who still innovating in technology for the sensors? (RGBW)
And about Samsung, who is the biggest mobile phone manufacturer in the world?
Oh! Wich sensor are present on the best smartphone of the world?
Well... Keep dreaming.
It's good for conscience.

Sony Fan Without Knowledge And Reasoning, You Wrote... Wrote And Your Reply Is Without Meaning Or Had Encounter With The Reality Of The Topic At Hand !
I Asked You And Sony Fan All Over This Forum, Which Mobile Phone Sony Ericsson ? Which Mobile Phone Sony ?
Which Mobile Phone Samsung ? Has Managed To Overcome That In a Photographic Quality Digital Camera Dedicated ?
Which Mobile Phone Sony Ericsson ? Which Mobile Phone Sony ? Which Mobile Phone Samsung ?
Equaled And Surpassed In Some Situations a Photo Quality Camera DSLR ???
And You Just Said No !!!
For The Simple Reason That There Is Not Exist And Never Existed a Sony Or Samsung Cell Phone That Achieves Such a Feat !!!
For The Cause... Motive... Reason And Circumstance That
Only Nokia Has Courage And Technology For Such a Feat !!!
And That's a Proven Fact With The Spectacular
N82 (TIPA AWARDS 2008),
NSERIES N8 (MOST OF THE DECADE CAMERAPHONE) And
808 PureView (TIPA AWARDS 2012 AND MILLENNIUM GREATEST CAMERAPHONE) !!!

Garulhos does have a point here tho. Sony/se has been lagging behind in terms of pic quality and video quality from a long time. There were times before when even a mid end phone from se would get much better pictures than Nokia. Now they are regarded as one of the better ones but not the best for a mobile camera. I am not talking here about sensors or what what Sony is capable of, but what they have done with the mobiles. However I am highly optimistic about the next gen exmor r and what they would do with their phones. It's time they focus more on multimedia aspects too.

I do understand that Sony sensor-equipped smartphones are now perhaps average in image quality but I do remember that the topic subject is comparing 808PV to a DSLR and he claimed that 808PV surpassed the A850 DSLR which is in my very humble and objective opinion is ridiculous beyond comprehension. 808PV is first and foremost a Mobile phone that happens to have phenomenal P&S capabilities but what's funny was that 808PV was priced almost $700 which is even more expensive than the current price of Xperia S which outperforms the PV in virtually everything as a Smartphone. Xperia S can do alot of things that a 808PV can't and for that price I'd get myself a Nikon D3200 or Sony NEXF3 and get astonishing images and unleash the photography-loving side of me if I really wanted professional-scale image quality.
