You can change the COM speed of your PC in the Control Panel.

Grab that 1.1.1 version

Your COM port speed should be faster if Im not wrong!

I know I can change the COM speed but my max option on PC is 128000.

Even if I set both P800 & PC to same speed, bits, error code I still get no communication.

I am slowly (56K modem) downloading 1.1.1 to see if that fixes it.

Do all you guys have a COM3 set up as this DCU cable and what is the COM speed setting for it. I couldn't get it to work over Bluetooth either even though the P800 & PC bonded with each other.

I have installed the Suite on 1 Windows XP pro with no success at all, this did have all the T68i software on though. Another Virgin XP pro machine worked 1st time. The copy to memory stick appears slow but I have an xternal reader to check the performance against.

I am going to instal to my XP home PC and see if I get any issue, but my git feel says it could be any previous SE sync Software.

Sat here listening to tatu mp3 with bouncing SE logo on phone

I uninstalled the T68 stuff first.

I have MS reader also (only way I could get Opera onto the P800) and its fast at transfer (not quite as fast as my iPAQ 256MB SD though)

I think Uninstall of T68 software is the way forward along with any otehr sync software you may have used for the phone (ie XTND connect or SE one)

If you can get your PC to a known state 1st it will help with troubleshooting

Hi! Have you ever installed a pc suite from Nokia? Maybe you have this port reserved for a modem? I managed to connect the phone by uninstaling nokia pc suite and changing the com port number for dcu11 to com4. lt works only on com4 in my case. Regards! Peter This message was posted from a P800

Rite, I'm runnin XP Home SP1, and had previously installed all the comms suite etc for my T68, so have now uninstalled the lot, took bout an hour coz of all the restarts and f**kin about, but i think i'm done, all that's left is C:/Program Files/Ericsson/Communications Suite/Mobile Phone Monitor/
the actual anubis.exe program has uninstalled from there, theres just a few dll files and a Bkgnd Log.txt file left, it won't delete these coz it says Bkgnd Log.txt is in use, but I can't find anything running that's using it. Anyway am now gonna try to install the new P800 Suite from the web version, hopefully it'll work this time!

Thanks for the replies and hope your getting somewhere eleventy. I installed a separate Win2K partition on my hard drive (dual boot), then installed the suit onto that. Everything worked fist time :) I did have all the T68/Ericsson software installed previously. Something is still messed up under XP. Now going to uprade the W2K partition to XP to see if suit still works. Will let you know how I get on. This message was posted from a WAP device

mine's all sorted now, the solution seems to be uninstall everythin that has ever connected another fone to ur pc (and i mean everything), you'll get errors saying that mobile phone monitor couldn't be uninstalled, but when you finally uninstall the last thing it will actually uninstall mobile phone monitor. Then install the latest vers from the web and everything should be hunky-dory
