@winhack

Where is the official information about the 3650's included 16 MMC card? Can't find it on the Nokia site. http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,5184,2275,00.html

I've corrected the calendar and sync capabilities in the 3650, but I need proof of the included 16 MB card before I change the feature list.

Bluetooth audio : http://www.nokia.com/cda1/0,1080,2284,00.html offers the bluetooth HDW-2 headset for use with 3650

MMC card : http://mobile.burn.com/review.jsp?Page=3&Id=230 states that the card is "optional"

The design might be a bit of an aquired taste, but at least the screen's better protected than the P800 and you can have basic things like Orange Line 2, T9 AND automatic SMS delivery reports from day one... oh, and one handed use is bound to be better than the P800...

It doesn't have SyncML; it does have Nokia's connection manager/data suite that works just as well.

So what does the P800 have that the 3650 doesnt? Touchscreen - a nice to have. The Opera browser... how long before the Symbian 6 version of that is released? MS Duo? Can you buy those from any High Street electrical retailer?

Other than the physical shape of the handset, what makes the P800 better than the 3650?

Anyone know whether its possible to get a Wi-Fi MMC/Duo card for the 3650/p800?

Would be superb if one can have Wi-Fi access with these PDA phones.

Nah - the closest you can get is to use Bluetooth data to a Bluetooth enabled PC if you want WiFi - like features. Even then, I'm not aware of a bluetooth IP solution for either Symbian or PC. Multiplayer Doom over IP on Symbian is a way off yet...

MS Smartphone could edge Symbian if their phones have Wi-Fi support.. There's talk about a WiFi SD available for Palm soon.

Well... we'll have to see how well the 3650 bluetooth stuff works. Nokia have a really bad reputation when it comes to bluetooth.

SyncML has much more use than syncing with your computer, you can sync with every device that supports SyncML. And you can sync with calenders/phonebooks on the internet. SyncML is far more useful.

And when we talk about PC Suite. So far it only works with Nokias own PC bluetooth cards which sucks. Which means that you can't sync with your computer via bluetooth unless you have Nokia stuff. At least that' the way it has been with all the other Nokia bluetooth phones. And I would be very surprised if that would change with the 3650.

Well, handwriting is faster than T9 at least when you get the hang of it. Why do you think PDA's like Palm/PocketPC have Handwriting instead of T9? Because handwriting is preferable and faster of course. If you have a touch screen handwriting is the best option. Of course T9 could occasionally have it 's uses. But the P800 is prepared for an alternative for multitap, which makes T9 a possible option in the future. I wouldn't have the keypad on the P800 anyway as it looks better without it anyway.

The jogdial makes the P800 quite easy to use with one hand. And if you keep the keyboard on you have that option as well... (not that I would do that though).

The P800 has many advantages a higher resolution screen, a much faster CPU, SymbianOS v7 and UIQ (which is much better compared to Symbian Os v6.1 and Series 60), better battery performance, faster GPRS, a much better wap/web browser, the Opera browser available and for free (and it is much easier navigating the web with a stylus), flight mode (which is really handy when travelling).

What the 3650 has: a much larger physical size. A completly worthless keyboard layout, Video recording...

Wi-fi would give you a batterylife of about an hour with 1000mah battery and is pretty much useless in mobile phone aplications

Not true. Worked fine with my 7650 and a Billionton USB adapter.
