I really would like to get this send e-mail thing on the P800 sorted out so if you find out do pls post.
On another point do you find that with ntlworld (56k modem) you cant download Pc suite 1.1.1
I'm having to use 'getright' and using the pause and resume fuction as the 2 hour cut off does give you enough time.
just a thought as the pc suite that came with the phone causes my pc to go slow & crash (P3, 20 gb, Win Me)
N
(Also if you use winmx on ntlworld I know how to get it to reconnect without crashing the PC, let me know if you want info)

I'm on 600k broadband, it's allways on and generally hassle free, although on the odd occasion that i'm home during the week it does tend to slow down....

I use a Orange eMail account and have no problems sending and receiving emails using GPRS. Even sent pictures taken with the P800 as attachments in emails without any problems.....works like a dream.
Been playing around with a std dial up connection to send and receive but I'm having problems, still trying to figure this out.
Have you guys checked out your GPRS email set up?

@Bogman
is that an ntl e-mail you are sending.
I mean if you sent me an e-mail and I clicked reply would it reply to an ntl e-mail address or an Orange e-mail address
thanks

evenin all..
I use NTL broadband 600kbs - had 1 meg but what's the pount now NTL have imposed a dload limit.. if u don't know what i'm talking about check this link:
http://www.guru4u.co.uk/forums/viewthread.php?tid=59
anyway since i have used ntl email on my T68i and now my P800 i've always had problems sending emails out!
I've solved this by sending out emails on my P800 using one of my pther email addy's but that aint the real solution. I know of several others with the same problem.
Has anyone actually spoke to NTL regarding this? although to do so would probably be a waste of time coz if i don't get bored queuing on the phone they wont know what ur talking about when u finally do get through!

Oh my god, they're putting on a limit, what a joke! This is really bad cuz i'm an irregular user, one week i will fill my HD on downloads, (120gb), and the next i may not use it at all. This is bad. oh and i still want to send emails from my phone! what settings are we supposed to use then?
