> There is a 15 days try period for codewarrior. So you can try

I looked for it at metrowerks.com, but could find a trial version of CodeWarrior for Windows only, which is for desktop PC applications, not for programming the P800. Even this one can not be downloaded, only ordered on CD. Am I wrong? (I hope so...)

So: is there any useable pointer to try CodeWarrior for P800? I'm sure it would be interesting for many of us...

I also tried to find a "Backup copy" of CW Wireless in numerous P2P apps and search engines, and had no success.

I can't spend that kind of money for "playing" with p800!!!
I thought I could make some simple apps for my personal usage and specs but i'll definitely won't buy that CW big $$$$ thing.

Borland still hasn't published their wireless edition (don't know when also).

Anyway, I tried using Sun ONE studio to develop MIDP apps, but I gave up, looks like too complicated (maybe later, when i have some spare time).

I want an IDE for p800

IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for P800.
And i meant an IDE for windows, obviously not to install in P800.

You can easily find CodeWarrior at metrowerks.com, but then you also need to find several hundreds of bucks in your pocket to spend... I wonder if any of you guys lurking here actually do C++ development for the P800 _without_ CodeWarrior. What are the tricks?

I really hate the fact that you need a $400 IDE to develop for the P800. What on earth was SE thinking? I mean, I've already paid several hundred dollars for Visual C++, thank you.

Maybe a certain someone can help you find codewarrior.
Maybe you can pm me for details.
Maybe you can promise to share whatever you develop if a certain someone helps you out.
