thanks for that info

On a more serious point then it looks like a few of us were going to use this stuff.

A slight scratch could turn into a nightmare.

I will do a new post warning about this

I've just managed to remove the scratch, it has disapeared.

It was definitely a scratch, about 1mm long, very light black.

A little soap and water and vigorous cleaning with cloth did not remove it.

This is how I did it-

With the screen on a white coloured page I moved the p800 pen diagonally across the scratch (90 degree angle) moving the tip of the pen quite quickly.

It has now disappeared, fantastic

nb this may not work with 'white' scratches or deep scratches but worth a try

Today I feel truely blessed!

My p800 is back to normal again, yippee

What about this PDA cleaning kit that coats the screen with a temporary protective cover? http://www.uaemall.com/main.asp?aggr=SubCategory=PDAs+Accessories^Category=Mobiles-Telephones,SubSubCategory&Sort=Modified&SRT=Name:Name,Price:Price&DEPT=ZMIX&BRAN=ODBC&COLS=1&agsh=step&agop=avg&AGHD=Average+Price+Dhs&LVL=1&NAV=1&OUF=Category=Mobiles-Telephones&THMC=778968&fd=8&LAYO=FixedFull

Keep the screen pristine. The PDA Cleaning Kit removes dust and other deposits that interfere with your view, provides a protective coating and leaves a layer that reduces stylus friction on screen. It’s an easy three-step process using the Solution, Wipes and Cleaning Cloth. Store your supplies in the portable case.

The Belkin Advantage:

--Cleaning solution: Specially formulated fluid creates a protective layer as it cleans.
--Particle-free wipes: Comes with 10 lint-free wipes for deleting dust and other deposits from your PDA.
--Micro-fiber cleaning cloth: Includes a reusable buffing cloth to wipe away the solution and other residue.

I'm from Poland. I don't have Displex but if there is someone who can send me some of this Display Polish I can test it on p800 screen and post some pictures. If there is someone interested just PM me. Best Regards! Peter Ps. Maybe someone has a free/not needed screen protector for p800 and can send it to me? This message was posted from a P800

me thinks the Brando WorkShop Screen Protector will do a better job at preventing scratches and stuff, that PDA cleaning kit looks like a fancy 'Mr Sheen'... it will repel dust well but i doubt that it will do anything else.

Just my thoughts...
