Well, most operators offer Mail-notification via SMS, so perhaps get yourself such an account, and make a field on your homepage like "send me an SMS" which is max 160chars and which actually just sends a short e-mail to your Mail-SMS service from your operator.
This way you can get the message on your phone..
just one way to do it..
Most free SMS services out there requires registration and they do certainly not allow anybody to use it on their own site

Haven't used it in ages, but I used to have an e-mail account that went straight to my phone thru genie.co.uk so try o2 or sommat... like skjalg said above...
